I’m 42 years old, living just outside Austin, and I’ve spent the better part of my adult life making magic happen with a mixing bowl, a fridge, and a whole lot of creativity.

My love for cooking started late—not as a child at my grandmother’s apron strings, but in my mid-20s when I moved into my first apartment and realized I didn’t have a clue how to feed myself beyond cereal and scrambled eggs. The first recipe I ever “mastered” was a no-bake cheesecake made from cream cheese, Cool Whip, and crushed graham crackers. It was wobbly, way too sweet, and honestly? Absolutely divine. I was hooked.
