- 3/4 cup brown sugar

- 1 cup old-fashioned whole rolled oats
- 4 fresh peaches, sliced or chopped

- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Prepare the Brown Butter: Melt the butter in a light-colored skillet over medium heat, stirring until browned (5-8 minutes). Pour into a bowl and chill until solid (45-60 minutes).
- Mix the Streusel Topping: Combine flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and oats in a bowl; refrigerate while preparing the filling.
- Preheat the Oven: Set oven to 350°F (177°C) and grease a 9-inch pie dish or similar baking dish.
- Make the Filling: Mix peaches, blueberries, granulated sugar, flour, salt, and vanilla in a bowl and spread in the baking dish.
- Combine the Topping: Mix chilled brown butter into the streusel topping until crumbly.
- Assemble and Bake: Sprinkle topping over the filling and bake for 45-50 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
- Cool and Serve: Let cool slightly before serving warm, optionally with ice cream or whipped cream.
Notes
Best served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Leftovers can be kept in the refrigerator for up to five days.
