These Cake Batter Rice Krispie Treats taste like a sweet party in every bite with mild cake flavor and colorful sprinkles.

- 4 cups crispy rice cereal
- 1/4 cup butter
- 10 oz marshmallows
- 1 cup dry cake mix
- 1/2 cup rainbow sprinkles
- 1/4 cup marshmallow creme (optional)
Instructions
- In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Stir in the marshmallows and continue to stir until thoroughly melted.
- Remove from heat and add the dry cake mix. Stir until well combined.
- Add the crispy rice cereal and mix until evenly coated.
- Stir in the rainbow sprinkles and marshmallow creme if using.
- Press the mixture into a greased or lined pan and allow to cool.
- Cut into squares and enjoy!
Notes
Use fresh marshmallows for the best melt and keep heat low to avoid scorching.
