Description

A rich, layered dessert that combines fudgy brownie and smooth cheesecake with sweet caramel and chocolate chips.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package of brownie mix
  • 1 package of cream cheese (8 oz)
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup of caramel sauce
  • 1 cup of chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup of butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the brownie mix according to package directions and pour half of the mixture into a greased 9-inch springform pan.
  3. In a bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the brownie layer in the pan.
  5. Add the remaining brownie mixture on top of the cream cheese layer.
  6. Drizzle the caramel sauce over the top, and sprinkle with chocolate chips and butter.
  7. Bake for 45-55 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out mostly clean.
  8. Allow to cool, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

For a clean slice, wipe the knife between cuts and warm the blade under hot water. Serve chilled and sliced with a dusting of cocoa or a drizzle of caramel.
