- 1 pound fresh strawberries
- 8 ounces dark chocolate (or milk chocolate)
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional for shine)
- Sprinkles or crushed nuts (optional for decoration)
Instructions
- Wash the strawberries and dry them completely with a paper towel.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate and coconut oil.
- Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until the chocolate is melted and smooth.
- Dip each strawberry into the melted chocolate, allowing the excess to drip off.
- Place the dipped strawberries on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- If desired, sprinkle with decorations before the chocolate hardens.
- Refrigerate until the chocolate sets, about 30 minutes.
