A simple and fun craft to create unique Christmas ornaments using common kitchen ingredients.
Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup salt
- 2 cups water
- 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
- Optional: food coloring, baking soda for extra strength
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 200°F (90°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt.
- Gradually add water and oil, mixing until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until smooth.
- If desired, add food coloring to the dough.
- Roll out the dough to about 1/4 inch thick.
- Use cookie cutters to cut out shapes and make a hole for hanging.
- Place the ornaments on a baking sheet and bake for 2–3 hours until hard.
- Allow to cool completely before decorating.
Notes
Wrap finished ornaments in tissue paper or bubble wrap to prevent chipping. Avoid humid areas during storage.
