- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, mix together melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Add in eggs and vanilla extract, and mix until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
- In a small bowl, combine the 1/4 cup granulated sugar with an additional teaspoon of cinnamon, and sprinkle it over the top of the batter.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before cutting into squares and serving.
Notes
These blondies can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days or refrigerated for up to a week. They can also be frozen for up to three months.
