Description

A simple no-bake dessert with a crunchy graham cracker crust, smooth cream cheese filling, and glossy cherry topping, perfect for any gathering.

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs (about 9 whole crackers)
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 container Cool Whip, 8 ounces
  • 1 can cherry pie filling, 21 ounces

Instructions

  1. Melt the unsalted butter in a small saucepan or in the microwave until liquid.
  2. In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs and granulated sugar. Pour melted butter over crumbs and stir until combined.
  3. Press the crumb mixture firmly into the bottom and slightly up the sides of a 9-inch pie plate or an 8×8-inch square pan. Chill in the refrigerator.
  4. In a medium bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth.
  5. Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, and continue to beat until creamy and lump-free.
  6. Fold in the Cool Whip gently until light and even.
  7. Spread the filling over the chilled crust evenly.
  8. Spoon the cherry pie filling over the cream layer and smooth gently.
  9. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to firm up, but chilling 2 to 4 hours is best for cleaner slices.
