Description
These churro bites are deliciously crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, made quickly in an air fryer for a healthier treat.
Ingredients

- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Cooking spray or oil for the air fryer
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine water, sugar, butter, and vanilla over medium heat until the mixture comes to a boil.
- Stir in flour and salt until the dough forms a ball and pulls away from the sides of the pan.
- Remove from heat and let cool for a few minutes.
- Beat in eggs one at a time until smooth.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Transfer the dough to a piping bag and pipe small bites onto parchment paper.
- Lightly coat churro bites with cooking spray.
- Air fry for 5–7 minutes until golden brown, turning halfway through.
- Mix cinnamon and sugar in a bowl and toss the churro bites in the mixture before serving.
Notes
Serve hot with dipping sauces like chocolate, dulce de leche, or fruit jam. Store in an airtight container.
