Ingredients

- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup brewed coffee
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/2 cup gingerbread cookies, crushed
- Chocolate or glaze for topping
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whip the heavy cream and powdered sugar until soft peaks form.
- In a separate bowl, mix brewed coffee, vanilla extract, ginger, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- Fold the coffee mixture into the whipped cream gently until combined.
- Add the crushed gingerbread cookies and fold again.
- Spoon the mousse into dome molds and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until set.
- Once set, carefully remove the domes from the molds.
- Top with chocolate or glaze before serving.
Notes
Chill mixing bowls and beaters for better whipping results. Use stronger coffee for a more pronounced flavor.
