Ingredients

- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup brewed coffee
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 2 teaspoons gelatin
- 1/4 cup cold water
- Chocolate for glazing (optional)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix gelatin with cold water and let it sit until it blooms.
- In a saucepan, combine brewed coffee, sugar, and spices over medium heat until the sugar dissolves.
- Stir in bloomed gelatin until fully dissolved.
- In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream to soft peaks, then fold the coffee mixture gently into the whipped cream.
- Pour the mousse into dome-shaped molds and refrigerate until set (about 4 hours).
- If desired, melt chocolate and coat the domes for a shiny glaze.
- Once set, carefully remove from molds and serve.
Notes
Serve chilled with a sprinkle of cinnamon or grated chocolate. Pair with cookies or coffee for a complete dessert experience.
