Description

Elegant and creamy mousse domes with a blend of coffee and warm spices, perfect for holiday gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup brewed coffee
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 2 teaspoons gelatin
  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • Chocolate for glazing (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix gelatin with cold water and let it sit until it blooms.
  2. In a saucepan, combine brewed coffee, sugar, and spices over medium heat until the sugar dissolves.
  3. Stir in bloomed gelatin until fully dissolved.
  4. In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream to soft peaks, then fold the coffee mixture gently into the whipped cream.
  5. Pour the mousse into dome-shaped molds and refrigerate until set (about 4 hours).
  6. If desired, melt chocolate and coat the domes for a shiny glaze.
  7. Once set, carefully remove from molds and serve.

Notes

Serve chilled with a sprinkle of cinnamon or grated chocolate. Pair with cookies or coffee for a complete dessert experience.
