Description

Delicious homemade churro bites that are warm, crisp, and perfect for dipping in Nutella. Easy to make and irresistibly sweet!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3 large eggs
  • Oil for frying
  • 1/2 cup sugar (for coating)
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • Nutella (for dipping)

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine water, butter, sugar, and salt. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
  2. Once boiling, add flour and stir vigorously until the mixture forms a ball.
  3. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  4. Beat in eggs one at a time until smooth.
  5. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  6. Use a piping bag to pipe small rounds of dough into the hot oil. Fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes on each side.
  7. Remove churro bites from oil and drain on paper towels.
  8. Mix sugar and cinnamon in a bowl and coat churro bites in the mixture.
  9. Serve warm with Nutella for dipping.

Notes

Keep finished churro bites in a low oven to stay warm and crisp before serving. You can use a zip-top bag if you don’t have a piping bag.
