Ingredients

- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- Toppings of your choice (whipped cream, marshmallows, chocolate shavings)
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, combine cocoa powder, sugar, and salt.
- Add milk gradually and whisk until well mixed.
- Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly until hot, but do not boil.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
- Pour into mugs and top with your favorite toppings.
Notes
For a richer texture, stir in a small piece of dark chocolate until melted. Adjust sweetness to taste.
