Description

A refreshing and naturally sweet 4‑ingredient lemonade made with real strawberries, fresh lemon juice, and honey. This vibrant, crowd-pleasing drink comes together in just 15 minutes—perfect for hot summer days and family refreshments.


Ingredients

  • pounds (680 g) fresh strawberries, hulled and halved

  • ¾ cup (180 ml) fresh lemon juice (about 4 medium lemons)

  • ½ cup (170 g) honey (or agave syrup for a vegan option)

  • 6 cups (1.44 L) cold water


Instructions

  • Rinse, hull, and halve the strawberries. Place them in a blender.

  • Add 2 cups of cold water, fresh lemon juice, and honey to the blender. Blend on high for at least 2 minutes or until smooth.

  • Pour the mixture into a large pitcher and stir in the remaining 4 cups of cold water.

  • Taste and adjust sweetness with additional honey, if desired.

  • Optionally, refrigerate for 1–2 hours to let froth settle before serving.

 

  • Serve over ice, and garnish with lemon or strawberry slices if you like.

Notes

To reduce pulp or seeds, strain the blended mixture through a fine-mesh sieve before adding remaining water.

Frozen strawberries can be used—thaw first for smoothness, or keep them frozen for a slushy version.

For a bubbly twist, replace part of the cold water with sparkling water or club soda.

Customize with herbs—like mint, basil, or lavender—for a refreshing herbal note.
