Description
A refreshing and naturally sweet 4‑ingredient lemonade made with real strawberries, fresh lemon juice, and honey. This vibrant, crowd-pleasing drink comes together in just 15 minutes—perfect for hot summer days and family refreshments.
Ingredients
1½ pounds (680 g) fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
¾ cup (180 ml) fresh lemon juice (about 4 medium lemons)
½ cup (170 g) honey (or agave syrup for a vegan option)
6 cups (1.44 L) cold water
Instructions
Rinse, hull, and halve the strawberries. Place them in a blender.
Add 2 cups of cold water, fresh lemon juice, and honey to the blender. Blend on high for at least 2 minutes or until smooth.
Pour the mixture into a large pitcher and stir in the remaining 4 cups of cold water.
Taste and adjust sweetness with additional honey, if desired.
Optionally, refrigerate for 1–2 hours to let froth settle before serving.
Serve over ice, and garnish with lemon or strawberry slices if you like.
Notes
To reduce pulp or seeds, strain the blended mixture through a fine-mesh sieve before adding remaining water.
Frozen strawberries can be used—thaw first for smoothness, or keep them frozen for a slushy version.
For a bubbly twist, replace part of the cold water with sparkling water or club soda.
Customize with herbs—like mint, basil, or lavender—for a refreshing herbal note.
Best stored covered in the refrigerator for up to 1 week; stir well before serving.
