Description

This no-bake fall snack mix combines crunchy Chex cereal, spiced candy coating, powdered sugar, and mellowcreme pumpkins into an addictive seasonal treat. Perfect for Halloween parties, Thanksgiving snacks, or cozy evenings at home!


Ingredients

  • 78 cups (13.5 oz box) Cinnamon Chex cereal (or Rice Chex)

  • 12 oz orange candy melts or white chocolate

  • 3 teaspoons ground cinnamon, divided

  • ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg

  • ½ teaspoon ground cloves

  • ¼ teaspoon ground allspice

  • 1 cup confectioners’ sugar

  • 12 cups mellowcreme pumpkins



Instructions

  1. Pour Chex cereal into a large mixing bowl and set aside.

  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt candy melts or white chocolate in 20-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth.

  3. Stir in 2 tsp cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and allspice until fully blended.

  4. Pour the spiced mixture over the cereal and gently fold until evenly coated.

  5. In a large zip-top bag, combine powdered sugar and 1 tsp cinnamon. Add coated cereal, seal, and shake until well coated.

  6. Pour back into a bowl and discard excess sugar. Stir in mellowcreme pumpkins.

  7. Let cool for 10–15 minutes before serving or storing.

Notes

Substitute all spices with 1½ tsp pumpkin pie spice, if desired.

Store in an airtight container at room temp for up to 2 weeks.

Add-ins: candy corn, pumpkin spice M&Ms, cinnamon chips, pumpkin seeds.

Gluten-free option: use certified GF Chex and candy.
