Description

Deliciously soft and colorful cookies filled with crunchy Oreo pieces and festive M&M’s, perfect for Valentine’s Day celebrations.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter (slightly softened)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 and 1/3 cup flour
  • 1 tbsp corn starch
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2/3 cup Valentine’s Day M&M’s
  • 7 Oreo cookies (roughly chopped, regular stuffed)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silpat.
  2. In a medium bowl, cream the butter and both sugars together using a spatula.
  3. Add in the vanilla and egg, mixing until smooth and well combined.
  4. Incorporate the dry ingredients: flour, corn starch, baking soda, and salt, stirring just until combined.
  5. Fold in the M&M’s and Oreo pieces.
  6. Using a large cookie scooper (1/4 cup), scoop out the cookie dough to form about 10 equal cookies.
  7. Place cookies on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they are about 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 13 minutes. The cookies may look underdone; this is normal as they will continue to bake while cooling.
  9. Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
