A delicious twist on the classic Rice Krispie Treats with the rich flavor of browned butter and gooey marshmallows.

- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 package (10 oz) mini marshmallows
- 3 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- 1 cup extra mini marshmallows
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat until golden brown.
- Add the mini marshmallows and salt, stirring until melted and smooth.
- Incorporate the vanilla extract and mix well.
- Mix in the Rice Krispies cereal until coated.
- Add the extra mini marshmallows for gooey pockets.
- Press the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch pan.
- Cool completely before cutting into squares.
Notes
Store in an airtight container for 3 to 4 days. You can add sprinkles, chocolate chips, or nuts for variations.
