Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix the cream cheese filling by beating cream cheese with powdered sugar and milk until smooth.
- Make the cookie dough by creaming together unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time and mix in the vanilla extract.
- Combine dry ingredients in a separate bowl, then gradually add to the wet mixture until just combined.
- Assemble the cookies by placing a teaspoon of cream cheese filling in the center of each flattened dough ball and folding it around.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
- Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
