Delightful treats made from crispy Rice Krispies, smooth chocolate, and creamy peanut butter, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
Scale
- 3 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- 2 cups mini marshmallows
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Melt the butter and chocolate: In a saucepan, melt the butter and chocolate chips over low heat. Stir gently until the mixture is smooth and fully combined. Be careful not to burn the chocolate!
- Add the peanut butter: Once the chocolate and butter are melted together, stir in the peanut butter. Keep stirring until it is well mixed and creamy.
- Mix in the marshmallows: Remove the saucepan from heat and quickly mix in the mini marshmallows. Stir until they are melted and fully combined with the chocolate mixture.
- Add the Rice Krispies: Gently fold them into the chocolate mixture until they are evenly coated.
- Form the balls: Let the mixture cool slightly. Once it’s cool enough, take small amounts of the mixture and roll them into balls.
- Coat with powdered sugar: Roll the formed balls in powdered sugar for a nice finish.
- Allow to set: Place the coated balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and let them firm up.
