  • 34 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 1 box (11 oz) vanilla wafers
  • Optional: crushed vanilla wafers for topping

Instructions

  1. Prepare the pudding: In a bowl, mix the instant vanilla pudding mix with the milk. Whisk well until smooth and thickened. This usually takes about 2 minutes.
  2. Add whipped cream: Gently fold in the whipped cream into the pudding mixture. This makes the pudding light and creamy.
  3. Layer the ingredients: In a glass dish or individual cups, start layering your dessert. Begin with a layer of vanilla wafers at the bottom, followed by a layer of sliced bananas, and then a layer of pudding mix. Repeat these layers until you run out of ingredients, finishing with a layer of pudding on top.
  4. Chill and serve: Cover the dish with plastic wrap and let the pudding chill in the fridge for at least 120 minutes.
  5. Top before serving: Just before serving, add additional whipped cream and sprinkle crushed vanilla wafers on top if desired.
