A delightful dessert that combines bright flavors of lemon and blueberry in a simple, one-dish cake.

- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 can blueberry pie filling
- 1/2 cup lemon juice
- 1 package cream cheese (8 oz), softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 4 cups fresh blueberries
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Mix the softened cream cheese with the sugar and lemon juice until smooth.
- Spread the blueberry pie filling evenly in the bottom of the greased dish.
- Pour the cheesecake mixture over the blueberries.
- Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly on top of the cheesecake layer.
- Drizzle the melted butter over the cake mix.
- Scatter the fresh blueberries and lemon zest on top.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Serve warm with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream. Can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days.
