- 16 Oreo cookies, crushed
- 2 cups cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup whipped cream
- Additional Oreos for topping
Instructions
- Begin by crushing the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed Oreo cookies with melted butter.
- Mix until well-combined, then press this mixture into the bottom of a springform pan to form a firm crust.
- In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until it’s smooth and creamy.
- Add in the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until everything is well combined.
- Fold in the whipped cream gently to keep it light and airy.
- Pour the creamy cheesecake mixture over the crust evenly.
- If desired, top with additional crushed Oreos or whole Oreos for decoration.
- Cover the springform pan with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
- When ready to serve, take it out of the fridge, remove the springform, and slice into pieces.
Notes
For best results, allow the cheesecake to chill longer for a better flavor meld. Customize toppings as desired.
