Description

A delightful dessert combining the sweetness of strawberries with the rich creaminess of white chocolate, creating a refreshing treat perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 1/2 cups of ground biscuits (like graham crackers or Petit Beurre)
  • 2/3 cup of melted butter or margarine
  • 7 tablespoons of milk
  • 14 ounces of fresh or frozen strawberries
  • 1/4 cup of sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of cornstarch
  • 3 tablespoons of water
  • 10.5 ounces of white chocolate
  • 1/2 cup of heavy cream
  • 7 ounces of cream cheese (such as cream cheese spread)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Strawberry Cream: Start by placing the strawberries in a saucepan with sugar. Heat the mixture on low, stirring occasionally. Once it boils, mash the strawberries with a fork or potato masher. Mix cornstarch with water to create a smooth paste and add it to the strawberry mash, stirring until thickened. Remove from heat and let it cool for about 10 minutes.
  2. Make the Crust: In a mixing bowl, combine the ground biscuits with melted butter and milk until achieving a dough-like consistency. Press the mixture into a tart pan, covering the bottom and sides.
  3. Assemble the Tart: Spread the cooled strawberry cream evenly over the biscuit crust and refrigerate to set.
  4. Prepare the White Cream: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate in short intervals. In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form, then add cream cheese and mix well. Fold in the melted white chocolate until smooth.
  5. Final Layering: Spread the white cream over the strawberry layer and smooth it out. Decorate with halved strawberries or chocolate shavings if desired.
  6. Chill and Serve: Refrigerate the assembled tart for at least another hour until firm. Slice into wedges and enjoy!

Notes

Serve with a dollop of whipped cream or a sprinkle of grated chocolate for added decoration. Store in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
