A vibrant vanilla cake layered with sweet strawberry jam and fresh whipped cream, perfect for any celebration.


Ingredients

  • 2 layers of soft vanilla cake
  • 1 cup strawberry jam
  • 2 cups whipped cream
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven and prepare the cake pans: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your two round cake pans.
  2. Make the vanilla cake batter: In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, eggs, butter, baking powder, and milk. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  3. Divide the batter equally between the prepared cake pans.
  4. Bake until a toothpick comes out clean: Bake for 25-30 minutes and check with a toothpick.
  5. Once cooled, spread a layer of strawberry jam on one layer of the cake.
  6. Add a layer of whipped cream and fresh strawberries on top of the jam.
  7. Place the second layer of cake on top.
  8. Frost the entire cake with whipped cream.
