Description

Delightful baked churro bites with a crispy exterior and soft interior, coated in cinnamon sugar.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup water (120ml)
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter (57g)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt (1.5g)
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour (60g)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar (50g)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon (2g)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Combine water, butter, and salt in a medium saucepan over medium heat until boiling.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the flour until a smooth dough forms.
  4. Cool the dough for a few minutes.
  5. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each until smooth.
  6. Transfer dough to a piping bag fitted with a large star tip and pipe small portions onto the baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Mix granulated sugar and cinnamon in a shallow dish.
  9. Toss warm churro bites in cinnamon sugar until well coated.
  10. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Great served with chocolate sauce or as part of a dessert platter.
