- 3 ripe bananas, sliced
- 1 box of graham cracker crumbs (about 2 cups)
- 1 cup of unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup of powdered sugar
- 2 cups of whipped cream
- 1 jar (8 oz) of chocolate sauce
- 1 jar (8 oz) of strawberry sauce
- Chopped nuts (optional)
- Maraschino cherries (for topping)
Instructions
- Prepare the crust: In a bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs with the melted butter. Mix them well until they are evenly coated. Press this mixture into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Make the whipped cream layer: In another bowl, mix the powdered sugar and whipped cream together until smooth and creamy. Spread this mixture over the crust.
- Add the bananas: Place the sliced bananas evenly over the whipped cream layer.
- Drizzle the sauces: Drizzle both chocolate sauce and strawberry sauce over the bananas.
- Optional nuts: If desired, sprinkle chopped nuts over the top.
- Chill the cake: Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 240 minutes or overnight.
- Garnish and serve: Before serving, top the cake with maraschino cherries and additional whipped cream, if desired.
