Description

A delightful no-bake dessert featuring layers of graham cracker crust, whipped cream, fresh bananas, and rich sauces, perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 1 box of graham cracker crumbs (about 2 cups)
  • 1 cup of unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup of powdered sugar
  • 2 cups of whipped cream
  • 1 jar (8 oz) of chocolate sauce
  • 1 jar (8 oz) of strawberry sauce
  • Chopped nuts (optional)
  • Maraschino cherries (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the crust: In a bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs with the melted butter. Mix them well until they are evenly coated. Press this mixture into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Make the whipped cream layer: In another bowl, mix the powdered sugar and whipped cream together until smooth and creamy. Spread this mixture over the crust.
  3. Add the bananas: Place the sliced bananas evenly over the whipped cream layer.
  4. Drizzle the sauces: Drizzle both chocolate sauce and strawberry sauce over the bananas.
  5. Optional nuts: If desired, sprinkle chopped nuts over the top.
  6. Chill the cake: Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 240 minutes or overnight.
  7. Garnish and serve: Before serving, top the cake with maraschino cherries and additional whipped cream, if desired.
