- 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 can cherry pie filling
Instructions
- Prepare the crust: Combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter in a medium bowl. Mix until fully coated, then press into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
- Make the filling: In a large bowl, combine softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Beat until smooth and creamy.
- Whip the cream: In another bowl, pour in heavy cream and whip until stiff peaks form.
- Combine everything: Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture.
- Assemble the cheesecake: Pour the cheesecake filling over the prepared crust and smooth the top with a spatula.
- Chill: Cover and refrigerate for at least 240 minutes, or until set.
- Top with cherries: Just before serving, spread cherry pie filling over the top of the cheesecake.
