- 4 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1 cup corn syrup
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups mini marshmallows (optional)
- Butter or cooking spray (for greasing)
Instructions
- Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan with butter or cooking spray.
- Mix together the corn syrup and granulated sugar in a large saucepan over medium heat until melted.
- Add the peanut butter and stir until fully incorporated.
- Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
- Mix in mini marshmallows if using and stir until melted.
- Pour the Rice Krispies cereal into the pan and gently stir until fully coated.
- Press the mixture into the prepared baking pan evenly and compactly.
- Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares.
