Description

A delightful fall dessert featuring tender apples spiced with cinnamon, topped with a rich, buttery oat crumble.


Ingredients

  • 6 cups peeled and sliced apples
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the peeled and sliced apples with half of the brown sugar and ground cinnamon in a large bowl.
  3. Transfer the apple mixture into a greased baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  4. Mix the rolled oats, all-purpose flour, the remaining brown sugar, melted butter, and salt in another bowl until crumbly.
  5. Sprinkle the oat mixture evenly over the apples.
  6. Bake for about 40-45 minutes, or until the apples are tender and the topping is golden brown.
  7. Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving warm.
