- 6 cups peeled and sliced apples
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Combine the peeled and sliced apples with half of the brown sugar and ground cinnamon in a large bowl.
- Transfer the apple mixture into a greased baking dish, spreading it evenly.
- Mix the rolled oats, all-purpose flour, the remaining brown sugar, melted butter, and salt in another bowl until crumbly.
- Sprinkle the oat mixture evenly over the apples.
- Bake for about 40-45 minutes, or until the apples are tender and the topping is golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving warm.
Notes
Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for an extra treat. Can be stored in the refrigerator for 3-4 days or frozen for longer storage.
