- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup salted caramel sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- Mix the melted butter with the brown sugar and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
- Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl, then gradually add to the wet ingredients.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and half of the salted caramel sauce.
- Spread the batter into the prepared baking pan and drizzle the remaining salted caramel on top, swirling gently.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until edges are golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan before slicing into squares or rectangles.
Notes
For thicker bars, chill the dough for 30 minutes before baking. Serve warm for the best taste.
