Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup salted caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. Mix the melted butter with the brown sugar and granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  4. Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl, then gradually add to the wet ingredients.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips and half of the salted caramel sauce.
  6. Spread the batter into the prepared baking pan and drizzle the remaining salted caramel on top, swirling gently.
  7. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until edges are golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Cool in the pan before slicing into squares or rectangles.

Notes

For thicker bars, chill the dough for 30 minutes before baking. Serve warm for the best taste.
