- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup milk
- 3 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon baking powder

- 1 cup sprinkles
- 1 cup Italian buttercream (homemade or store-bought)
- 1/2 cup white chocolate, chopped
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
- Cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Then stir in the vanilla extract.
- Prepare the dry ingredients by whisking together the flour, baking powder, and salt in another bowl.
- Combine the dry ingredients with the wet mixture, alternating with milk, and mix until just combined.
- Fold in the sprinkles, being gentle to maintain their color.
- Divide the batter evenly between the prepared cake pans and bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Cool the cakes in the pans for 10 minutes, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
- Make the ganache by heating the heavy cream until boiling, then pouring it over the chopped white chocolate. Stir until smooth.
- Assemble the cake by spreading Italian buttercream on the first layer and adding the second layer on top. Cover the entire cake with buttercream.
- Drizzle the white chocolate ganache over the top and let it set before serving.
